Today, we're excited to announce the limited alpha release of our GPU marketplace to 100 randomly selected community members from our waitlist. Each alpha tester will receive $50 in free credits and will be notified by email within 24 hours on a rolling basis. If you haven't already, we encourage you to apply for a chance to participate.

This alpha version allows users to rent GPUs in seconds, and we’re eager to hear your feedback. We expect there to be some bugs, so please share your honest thoughts directly in our Discord channel, #gpu-alpha. Our team, including our CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Jasper Zhang, and our CTO and Co-Founder, Dr. Yuchen Jin, will be actively engaging with your questions and feedback.

Let’s take a moment to discuss how the GPU Marketplace fits into Hyperbolic’s broader ecosystem, its importance, and what you can expect in future updates.

Hyperbolic’s GPU Marketplace: The Foundation to Our Ecosystem

Hyperbolic’s ecosystem architecture is made up of five layers: 1. Decentralized Orchestration Layer, 2. AI Services Layer, 3. Verification and Privacy Layer, 4. Blockchain Layer, and 5. Application Layer. These layers work together to create a dynamic environment where everyone benefits, from the smallest node to the largest data center. Whether you’re a GPU provider or an AI service user, each participant plays a role in this interconnected system.

Hyperbolic’s GPU marketplace is powered by the Decentralized Orchestration Layer, which is the foundation of our ecosystem. This layer manages and optimizes global GPU infrastructure, bringing together computing power from data centers, mining farms, personal machines, and on-prem machines around the world. This pooled power supports AI services by providing the necessary computational resources, making it possible for researchers and startups to access GPUs at a fraction of the cost.

The Leading and Affordable GPU Marketplace

What sets Hyperbolic’s GPU marketplace apart is its seamless experience. Renting a GPU is as simple as a few clicks—no need to interact with customer support or sales teams. Researchers and developers worldwide can get started building instantly and access GPUs at a lower cost than traditional Web2 AI clouds like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Our platform is designed to be user-friendly, with the goal of making GPUs more accessible so you can focus on building.

In this alpha version, you can rent GPUs like the H100, A100, 4090, 3090 and other popular options. The prices are set by our network of suppliers, who are offering competitive rates thanks to our commitment to eliminating the middleman. You can be confident that you’re getting the best price available.

Help Shape the Future of Open-Access AI

We’re excited to hear your feedback and are looking forward to the upcoming release of our supply-side marketplace. Soon, anyone will be able to supply GPUs in a permissionless environment and earn rewards for participating in the network. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing to build the best experience for renting compute in the market together with our community.
