At Hyperbolic, we’re building an open AI ecosystem and economy where everyone who contributes is rewarded. Our goal is not just to optimize AI performance to compete with traditional Web2 services but to create an inclusive AI economy accessible to all.

Hyperbolic offers free decentralized AI inference APIs that anyone can start using today. These include text generation models, image generation models, and audio generation models. You can incorporate these into your app or build any AI agent using them.

Hyperbolic’s ecosystem architecture comprises five layers. With our decentralized orchestration layer, AI services layer, verification layer, privacy layer, and blockchain, we enable the creation of many AI applications that cannot be built on traditional Web2 platforms.

Hyperbolic’s application layer is where users interact with AI-powered apps built by the community. We invite builders, startup founders, developers, and researchers to explore how Hyperbolic can accelerate your application's potential. The future of AI is collaborative. We hope you enjoy participating in the online hackathon.

Hackathon Details

1. Hyperbolic Challenge - $1,500

Objective
Build any project you envision using any of Hyperbolic's inference model APIs. Show us how you would innovate within Hyperbolic’s open ecosystem and economy.

Resources

2. Bittensor Challenge - $500

Objective

Integrate our AI inference API into Bittensor subnets and explore the potential to mine Tao tokens efficiently. Participants are challenged to deploy AI models that can optimize token mining on these subnets.

Subnets for exploration:

  • Subnet 18 (Corcex.t) focuses on high-quality text and image responses through API usage. Learn more on Github.

  • Subnet 19 (Namoray) focuses on LLMs, Image generation, avatars. Further details can be found on Github.

Resources

3. Morpheus Node Integration Challenge - $500

Objective

Participants are challenged to integrate our AI inference API into the Morpheus Lumerin Node.

Key Tasks

  • Explore the integration of Hyperbolic AI inference and Morpheus node.

  • Utilize the provided code and documentation to implement and test your solution by running a node.
